i have finished putting all my things away. it is very strange being alone home here now. i hope i will run into someone who remembers i remember.

japan already looks very different when i can read most of  some of  a few of the street signs. in nagoya we were not supposed to leave school without senior older students, and most people at the dorms were changing  switch  also from other countries. i am not sure where to go to find something good to drink. can i ask one of you  someone?

i've been trying to brush up on my japanese, but its definitely more difficult than my practice books. i would like to practice, but if im more understandable in english to people that is okay too. maybe that is easier for people who can speak it?

I'm sure there are plenty of conbini or vending machines near where you're staying. If you really want a better selection then a conbini would be better of the two.

i have seen a lot of vending machine! i think i did not pay attention last time i was here, i did not remember so many. i will try the conbini i think. are there things that are more japanese i should try?

There are some lovely tea and coffee places around. Where abouts are you living? that usually helps.

thank you. ive taken lessons, but im not sure how well they are holding up in practice. i didnt know you spoke english, yukimura-san, that is good to know. i think my tennis has gotten a little better since i was really young the last time you saw me play, but its been a while since ive had the chance to play. do you still play much?

You don't look familiar at all, so I'm going to assume I don't know you. Maybe you should pick up a pocket dictionary to carry around with you. That way if you get lost and/or confused you'll be able to look up the word and figure it out from there. Plus it will help you learn. I tried to do that with English once, but I kept getting confused. I know a few words from TV shows, but it's not a strong point of mine. Your Japanese is much better than my English. Which makes me kind of jealous because I would like to have more experience in another language. I guess I could practice with like Duolingo or something, but that seems like extra work.

you were ibu-san from the camp. you were at the mountain group, so we did not meet well. i am have my phone and a small dictionary, i think i can find most words. sometimes if the text is very long it can be difficult to find what it means because the word is changed.

i am not sure if there is a question? a dictionary is useful for learning, but there is not too much english here so it may not work. i have practiced japanese via the internet. if you want to try english, you could do the same.

controversial, maybe? i dont think that goes in that sentence though. most japanese people have some accent. german people do as well, though mines not so bad. i dont mind talking english to help you improve, since you'll run into a lot of it. i think being among japanese people is helping already. i have learned many new words already. not the ones i planned on learning, and not the most relevant ones, but i suppose you cant have everything.

Most vending machines that can be found just about anywhere sell a variety of delicious beverages. Unless, you're looking for something specifically?

it was a bit more abrupt than i was expecting, but people have been very helpful so far. im still glad for the help you and oishi-san gave me way back when, im not sure i would have known where to start without.

i will do my best to practice my japanese, to be able to talk with convenience. i am thinking it is good to practice talking with people instead of doing practice exercises again.

there are many things i have not tried before. i am making a list of what people tell me. do you have something you like more to try, yagyuu-san?
