i have finished putting all my things away. it is very strange being alone home here now. i hope i will run into someone who remembers i remember.

japan already looks very different when i can read most of  some of  a few of the street signs. in nagoya we were not supposed to leave school without senior older students, and most people at the dorms were changing  switch  also from other countries. i am not sure where to go to find something good to drink. can i ask one of you  someone?

i've been trying to brush up on my japanese, but its definitely more difficult than my practice books. i would like to practice, but if im more understandable in english to people that is okay too. maybe that is easier for people who can speak it?

Did you come back to Japan for university?

If you want to try something different from a convenience store or vending machine, red bean soup is good. It comes in a can. Also, I recommend yuzu lemon and milk tea.

Coffee is not very good at convenience stores, but there are many shops around with a decent cup. If you like alcohol and cheap food, there is a restaurant where everything on the menu is 240 yen.

i came to study computer science. i will be at keio university.

i will write those down. i am making a list of things to try while i am here. there are lots of things with bean in them, i think? more than at home.

money are interesting. 240 seems much, but i think it is not? i will try different coffee kinds if they are different. is alcohol in japan very different? i drink in germany, but i am not sure it works the same.

I think that you will find other people you know at Keio University. I am studying music. My school is near Ueno Park.

That’s true. And we have many sweets with beans and potatoes.

240 is less than 2 euro. In Japan, I think beer is weaker. But there are a lot of different cocktails with lychee, yuzu, Plum wine, and tea. If you like strong drinks, you can try sake or shochu.

Also, I can speak English. If you don’t understand my comment, you can guess what it means in English and I’ll tell you if it’s right.

i am glad to learn. it was a bit worried, since i do not know the school yet. you are a musician? do you play instruments, or something else?

i do not think i've seen beans used in sweet things before. i would like to try. potatoes are used for chips, or something else as well?

it is very strange to see so many numbers. when i switched money at the airplane place frankfurt airport i think i had not had so many bills before. does it not get confusing with the higher priced things? i will drink beer in germany, here i should try japanese things.

you are helpful. there are some things said here that i do not entirely understand, but i am taking notes. some things i think i probably do not need to understand, but at least i am now learning words. my course books did not mention loins.

Keio is close to the the arts university. If you want, we can try a 240 restaurant near there. I am in the faculty of music composition (music composition major). I can play piano, guitar, bass guitar, and drums.

Have you tried taiyaki? It is a waffle with sweet filling. It can be red bean, sweet potato, or custard.

I think it makes sense. Because in euro you can have less than one and that is very small. In Japan, there is nothing smaller than 1 yen.

Even with Japanese some people are hard to understand. But now you have new words to shock Akaya into making the horror movie heroine face.

i think it could be fun to try. it is good to know the schools are close. tokyo is big, so it is hard to keep track. you should bring some of the music you make, i want to hear. i am not known do not know about music, but that seems like a lot. it sounds impressed.

it does not sound like anything i have tried. i will write it down. where should i go to try?

i suppose that would be strange if you are not known to it. i think it would be hard to estimate how much it is if there are too many numbers, but maybe i will get used to it fast.

kirihara-san will be shocked by nipples? that is a bit surprising since he is older than me. i am surprised how freely japanese people talk about bodies. i had been told before that it would be less than in germany.

The Yamanote train line is a big circle around some of the main places in the city. It goes to both of our schools. Maybe start by exploring that. I’ll link you to my music blog.

You can get them frozen at convenience stores and supermarkets, but there are specialty stands and shops. Hiiragi is a good one in Ebisu.

Maybe surprised to hear you bringing them up. I think everyone has a different mindset on that. Those guys don’t reflect on all of Japan.

that seems like a good point to beginning. i will need to try it out to find more about the travel to school before it starts, i think. i am curious to listen.

i would like to try not frozen, i believe. i think hirakoba-san said he lives near here as well, maybe he could tell me where to go?

in germany i do not think it would be that big a deal. i am thinking being able to understand some of what is being said is very different than how i imagined it would be before i could. everyone is very helpful though, even if i was not expecting the thing with the nipples.

I know that Keio university is near Tamachi station on JR. The Oedo and Asakusa subway lines also run close. Where do you live?

Nobody expected the thing with the nipples. Do you mean that since you understand, the people you knew are different than you imagined? Or just the things that they talk about are different than what you thought?

i am near the ebisu station. i am not so sure about the specifics because my parents were the ones who chose the room, but i think it was said the station should make travel not so bad.

i will ask him and we can see if he will take us there.

i think it is that i was often not sure what the people of camp were talking about. even though i was there for some time, because i could not understand many things i think i may have assumed things were different than they have been? people talk about japanese culture as being more inwards modest, so i was surprise.

Ebisu is a good location. Very close.

Maybe some are, maybe some aren't. Isn't it more interesting that way?

where do you live, zaizen-san?

it is not a bad thing. i think it will be better to get to know the people when it will be unexpected, so that i will see more new things.

I live farther away, closer to Saitama, in discount housing. It’s not bad.

It can be. I only live there because it’s cheap.
