i have finished putting all my things away. it is very strange being alone home here now. i hope i will run into someone who remembers i remember.

japan already looks very different when i can read most of  some of  a few of the street signs. in nagoya we were not supposed to leave school without senior older students, and most people at the dorms were changing  switch  also from other countries. i am not sure where to go to find something good to drink. can i ask one of you  someone?

i've been trying to brush up on my japanese, but its definitely more difficult than my practice books. i would like to practice, but if im more understandable in english to people that is okay too. maybe that is easier for people who can speak it?

you are tooyama-san, i remember. or i should call you something else, if you are using a nickname? we could not talk much then, we should understand more now.

controversial, maybe? i dont think that goes in that sentence though. most japanese people have some accent. german people do as well, though mines not so bad. i dont mind talking english to help you improve, since you'll run into a lot of it. i think being among japanese people is helping already. i have learned many new words already. not the ones i planned on learning, and not the most relevant ones, but i suppose you cant have everything.

first name or nickname is fine! a lot of people call me kintarou or kin-chan but i guess just kin is fine too!!

i do not think that is the word i meant but it sounds close? i meant that i can speak to other people fine but i can not read hard things. i am mostly practicing with people i met online. they make fun of my bad spelling a lot but i think i am getting better! and . . . that makes me wonder. what kind of words are you learning???

akaya-kun has said that sometimes chan is used poorly, so maybe not that? is kin-kun maybe a good name to try?

conversational? the kind of english people use when they are talking to each other instead of the kind you'd find on a forms or formal letters. that sounds like the opposite problem of mine. i can more or less fill out my paperwork in japanese, but reusing the words to sound natural is more difficult. we'll both just have to work at improving. as for the words, my lessons didn't cover things like nipples or loins. i guess experience was the only way to learn such things.

yep! that's what i meant. nipples and loins, huh. i guess i just learned the english words for those too wwwww

kin-kun is good. i am going to keio to study computer science. i have not really played for some time, but there are people who have offered to play with me, and an-chan said she might take me to the university club. i am looking forward to playing again.

that makes sense. i guess everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses in language. i do not know what you would need them for, but i suppose considering the conversations i am reading today you never know when they will find their use.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'M GOING TO KEIO TOO!!!!! i'm an education major but i only got in because i got scouted to play in one of the tennis clubs!!! ahhhh an-senpai also invited me to come when the tennis clubs start practicing again!! maybe we can play a game or two then. i remember you being pretty strong back then so it could still be fun to play now!

aaaaaand i'm hitting my limit of english for the day sorry wwwww. i can only handle translating myself for so long i gotta work on my stamina, if language stamina is a thing.

i think an-chan mentioned that you would be there as well, yes. is it not hard on yourself to think that is the only reason? it will be a good practice, i think. i am being asked to play with many people who have been playing much. i think this will be good for my play level, but i am a bit worried about my shape now.

if english is difficult, you do not need to force you. i think i am more used to this, because at the camp i was with japanese all the time. i am more prepared, maybe.
