its probably better to not remember it. even though other people have brought it up since, i still dont really like it. oh it just depends on the person! if people have friendly personalities, you dont have to be formal! just try and match how people are acting towards you at first and youll figure it out. but also dont, like, force yourself!! everyones got their own, uhh... manner? yeah.
"hardass" is a good word to learn. i have got this feeling from them also. but i am going to make sure they stop watching us like lower.
