it is mostly just that it is really weird? i mean, aside from my parents assuming things because parents are weird it is not a thing i had considered people might think.

it is such a strange thing to get fixated on. i guess it is mostly that it caught me off guard, so i reacted more strongly than i would have other times.

i am sure the trip will be fun. i will try to make sure she is safe, of course.

I feel like people are nosy by nature. It's that same concept that when there's something like a car accident, the masses will stop to stare. They likely aren't doing so to be rude, but I understand entirely the feeling of being caught off guard.

Of course. I'm not worried about it. She can take care of herself. I do appreciate you keeping an eye out for her, though.
